Patti DeLila Brown, 59, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on April 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Patti was born on May 6, 1957 to Dean and DeLila Bogar. She was raised and educated in Enumclaw, WA.
She loved being a mother. In 1977 she had her first child, Rhiann (her favorite child). She married the love of her life, Greg Brown, on February 18, 1989. Together they enjoyed camping, antiquing, hiking, dirt bikes, and she especially loved scouting in the woods. She was a hard worker and helped start and run their mechanical business. In 1991 she gave birth to Alexandra (her favorite child) and in 1993 to a son, Christian (her favorite child). Recently she and her son had taken over Boise Creek Grocery, the store her family has owned for generations. She found so much joy in her children and thought they were the funniest people ever, especially her favorite child.
She is remembered by her husband of 28 years, Greg Brown; her father Dean (Carol) Bogar; her three children Rhiann (Beau) Gates, Alexandra (Julia B.) and Christian Brown; two brothers Mike (Cheral) Bogar and Eddie (Mi Shong) Bogar; two beautiful grandchildren Sydnie and Luke Gates; as well as nieces Carise Martindale (and family) and Micael Bogar.
In heaven, she has been reunited with her mom DeLila Bogar; her son Christopher Brown; and her nephew Jason Bogar.
The family would like to thank Pam Backus for the friendship, love, support and food she gave to mom and the family.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 4:00pm at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park, followed by a celebration of life at Charlie's Café in Enumclaw.
