Enumclaw resident Janice Kay Wetzel, age 76, died January 23, 2017 in Los Barriles, Baja, Mexico. She was born May 22, 1940 in Fargo, ND. Janice and her family moved to Tacoma in 1942 and later to Enumclaw where she graduated from Enumclaw High School. She worked at her parent's bakery in Enumclaw. Janice married Forrest Wetzel in 1958. They worked at the Enumclaw Sales Pavilion with Forrest's parents and in 1973 purchased the business from them. Janice and Forrest started S & W exporters with Larry and Gayle Schorno, the biggest U.S. exporters of dairy cattle to Asia. In 1989 the Wetzel's started WW Dairy with their son Bob and daughter-in-law Donna. Janice enjoyed gardening, yard work and baking cookies for the holidays. She always hosted "game feed" for Bob and his hunting buddies. Janice loved traveling, hosting family and friends at her home and spending time with her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her son Bob and his wife Donna of Enumclaw; brother Kenneth Holing of Renton; sister Karen Campbell and husband Ray of Yreka, CA; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Scott Wetzel on June 21, 1985 and her husband Forrest Wetzel on December 3, 1999.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at Weeks' Funeral Home in Buckley. Burial will follow at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park.
