Margaret A. Bryant was born in Buckley, Washington on February 22, 1923 and passed away on February 3, 2017. Margaret grew up with her family in Buckley, and was a graduate of Buckley High School Class of 1942.
After high school Margaret worked for The Boeing Company in the Expediting Group in support of the WWII effort. In 2010, Margaret was recognized by Boeing Leadership for her service during this time, as part of her son's Boeing Anniversary Recognition Luncheon.
Following her initial work at Boeing, Margaret entered into her career as beautician. She attended and graduated from the Moler Beauty & Barber School in Tacoma. She later became Co-Owner of the Bobbette Beauty Salon in Enumclaw.
In 1954, Margaret married her loving husband of 40 years, James Bryant, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The family, which included their son Mark and their nephew Patrick, resided in the Summit View area of Tacoma and for a short time in the South Hill area of Puyallup. She also volunteered as a beautician in several nursing homes, and was an active member in McKinley Park Christian Church in Tacoma and Puyallup Presbyterian Church. Margaret loved taking part in the many gatherings of her extended family, especially those held at the Sandor Family Ranch. She also loved walking, dancing, baking chocolate chip cookies, and helping prepare and provide cooking advice during holiday meals at the Ranch.
After her husband's passing in 1994, Margaret moved into the Argus Manor Apartments in Puyallup. She enjoyed spending time with neighbors at the complex, and loved taking people to church while she was still able to drive.
