Alberto “Al” Croppi died November 6th, 2017 in Enumclaw. He was born May 27th, 1943 in Domodossola, Italy and came to America in 1956 at the age of 13. Al graduated from Kent-Meridian High. He worked at Garrett Weldco for several years then finished his career as a welding instructor at Green River Community College for 30 years. Al was a talented welder and in his retirement he completed several welding art pieces located all over King and Pierce Counties.
Al is survived by his wife of 37 years Mardine Croppi; daughter Gina Croppi (Marian); son Anthony Croppi (Kimberly); stepdaughter Tracy Johansen (Curt); four granddaughters, one grandson and three great grandchildren.
