Audrey Hester Kjensrud, age 96, passed away October 2, 2017 in Enumclaw, Washington. She was born August 23, 1921 in Nashua, Montana to Maime and Burr Barnes. Audrey had ten siblings and is survived by her sister, Betty O’tremba. Audrey married Howard Kjensrud and moved to Frazer, Montana where they became wheat and cattle farmers. They had two children, Gary Kjensrud and Beverly Rubin. Audrey was a devoted mother to her children and tremendous support to her husband. While in Frazer, she was an active member of the Lutheran Church and supporter of the school system. Audrey and Howard retired to Great Falls, Montana and then to Enumclaw. Being close to family, enjoying grandkids and great grandkids was a priority. In Enumclaw, they joined the Trinity Lutheran Church where Audrey enjoyed being part of the Mary Martha Circle. She also loved entertaining, gardening, playing cards and watching the Mariners with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her unconditional love, commitment to her family, positive attitude and her warm personality.
