Bill W. Barnett, age 85, passed away November 13, 2017 in Tacoma. He was born January 16, 1932 to Otis and Bertha Barnett in Shattuck, Oklahoma. In August 1951, Bill married Betty Pieplow in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Most of all Bill loved being with family. He enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and golf. Bill had a big heart and a willingness to help out anyone that needed a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty; sons Bruce of Auburn and Brian (Susan) of Enumclaw; 4 grandkids; 7 great grandkids; and 6 great-great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Steed; son-in-law Donald Steed; and grandson Vince Barnett.
