Carl M. Erb Jr, 88, of Enumclaw, died Nov. 29, 2017. He was born Feb. 7, 1929 to Carl and Mable Erb in Bellingham, WA. Carl graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a Master’s Degree. He served as a Cryptologist in the United States Navy. In his free time he enjoyed travelling, he made stops all over the world. He loved boating and could always be found with his kids on his boat. His other hobbies included cooking and square dancing. He especially loved his church.
Carl is survived by his wife Sharol Erb of Enumclaw; sons, Chuck Erb of Bonney Lake, Michael Phelps and wife, Debra of Bothell, John Hudson and wife, Shannon of Metlakatla, AK; daughters, Naomi Fowler and husband, Brad of Mt Vernon, Annette Topham and husband, Bret of Ft Collins and Rebecca Nichols and husband, David of Provo, UT. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Carl is preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Lou Erb. A funeral service was held, Thurs., Dec. 7th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Enumclaw with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
