Carol Fisher Bogar, age 79, of Enumclaw died May 10, 2018 from complications associated with an extended battle with cancer. She was born August 21, 1938 in Bellingham, Washington. Carol was a gifted pianist and organist, providing beautiful music for her church, family and friends all her life. She was an adventurous traveler, a generous hostess and a caring friend, maintaining close relationships from as far back as Jr. High School. Carol was also a long-time member of Hillside Community Church, attending and serving there since 1976.
Carol’s compassionate spirit led her to give generously of her time and resources. She had a special place in her heart for the children of Peru and traveled there frequently to support the efforts of Helping Hands Ministries.
She was a lovely and kind person, a happily devoted wife to Dean, a wonderful mother to her daughters and a very special grandmother. Those she leaves behind will miss her greatly. We take comfort in knowing she is with the Lord and free from pain.
Carol is survived by her husband, Dean Bogar; daughters, Susan Deonigi (Tony), Sandy Rosenkranz (Rick), and Blossom Bolton (Dan); sister, Marilyn Stolz (Fred); brother, David Olson (Fran); grandchildren, Randy McElfresh (Brandi), John and Rachel Deonigi, Charity Montague (CJ), Dreux Bolton and Kayla Rosenkranz; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband Leo Fisher; her daughter, Chris McElfresh (Mark Keeth); and her parents, Carl and Helen Olson.
