Cecelia "Jeannie" Morris

Cecelia Jeanne “Jeannie” Morris, age 86, died April 22, 2018 in Olympia, WA. She was born in Monroe, WA on April 25, 1931 to Allan Joseph and Mary Alice (Atchison) Carpenter. On March 8, 1949 Jeannie married Charles Morris. Jeannie was known for her beautiful garden, nesting finches and sparrows at her home of 69 years on the corner of Stage & Sussex in Tenino, WA.

Jeannie is survived by her daughters Susan Isom (Mike) of Tenino and Barbara Morris of Olympia; brothers Floyd Boyce (Karen) of Rochester, WA, Kenneth Boyce (Debbie) of Marlborough, MA and Joseph Miller of Redding, CA; sister Annalee Dalsing of Maple Valley, WA and Kathleen Cravey (Roger) of Grass Valley, CA; and 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Morris; her parents; brothers Edward Carpenter, Fred Boyce and Jesse Boyce; and sister Evelyn Thornbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, May 5, 2018 at St. Peter’s Parish, 148 Keithahn St. S., Tenino. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Tenino.
