Christine Ann (Shields) Jameyson, 69, of Enumclaw passed away peacefully on March 1, 2018.
Christine was born in Grandview, WA to John B (“Bernard”) and Earline Shields. She was the oldest of seven children and moved to Enumclaw in in the 1960s. Christine attended beauty school and married the love of her life, Tom Jameyson, in 1969. Together, they had four children whom they raised in Enumclaw. Christine had a long career co-owning and working at Crystal Coiffeurs. Her clients (her “ladies”) were incredibly important to her, and some felt like family after seeing them weekly over the course of decades. She loved to travel, garden, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren. Some of Christine’s favorite memories are camping (“glamping”) in her RV with family. Her faithful canine companion, Stella, was often known to ride in the front seat of the car and sleep next to her at night. Christine is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Jameyson of Enumclaw; son, Ian Thomas Jameyson & wife, Ashlee of Buckley; daughters, Erikka Marie Thompson & husband, Ty, Erinn Kristine Tinney & husband, Chad, & Elyse Mae Wilson & husband, John all of Enumclaw. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Garrett, Morgan, Taylor, Emma, Kate, Maddy, Beau & Carter; brothers, Dennis Shields & wife, Sue, Kevin Shields & wife, Gina all of Enumclaw; sisters, Paula Watterson & husband, Tom of Enumclaw, Maureen Weisbeck & husband, David of Buckley, Denise Streeter & husband, Steve, & Shawn Van Wieringen & husband, Gregg all of Enumclaw. Chris is preceded in death by her father, John Shields, niece, Alisha Van Wieringen, & great nephew, R. J. Watterson. Christine’s mother, Earline Shields, died shortly after Christine on March 2, 2018
A service will be held Friday March 9, 2018 at 11.30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Enumclaw. Memorial Donations may be made to Monsignor Farrelly Memorial Youth Fund, 1614 Farrlley St, Enumclaw, WA, 98022.
