Dale Linda Pierson

Dale Linda Pierson died on June 26, 2018 just after her 72nd birthday.  Born in the summer of 1946, she was an instant source of joy for her parents, George and Marian Halcott.  Dale spent her childhood in the small town of Rutland, Massachusetts graduating from Wachusett Regional in 1964.  Eventually she found her way to motherhood raising two wonderful sons, Joel and Jason.  Life as a Bay Stater suited Dale but so did adventure.  Together with her husband, Gilbert, Dale began a love affair with the world.  She adventured in Bora Bora, swam with dolphins in the Bahamas, and stood proud amongst Arizona’s immense saguaros.  Each place, and its people, were left enriched by the light and love Dale was so known to give.  Always one to present herself neatly, and with her hair just right as is fitting of any coiffeuse, she exuded a sense of simple welcome and positivity.  Still, she was a firecracker with a stubborn streak and the passion that fuels all lovers of red wine.  She will be missed.  Those comforted most by the love she leaves behind are her husband Gilbert Pierson, sons Joel and Jason Little; grandsons Trystin and Chase, and loving brother Warren Halcott.  A remembrance of her vibrant life will be held on Saturday July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Weeks Funeral Home Chapel in Buckley, Washington.
