Dorothy Murray Obituary

Dorothy Ann Murray, age 92, passed away November 10, 2019 in Enumclaw. She was born August 16, 1927 in Evansville, Indiana to Irene (Duncan) and Daniel Groeninger. Dorothy graduated from Bosse High School. In 1946 she married James Murray. The Murray family moved to California in 1955. Dorothy retired as a senior clerk from General Motors in 1992 after a 34-year career. She relocated to Enumclaw in 1995 to be near her family.

Dorothy loved talking to family and friends, she never met a stranger. She loved spending time with family and friends and was a very active mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Over the years she was involved in PTA and several charities. Dorothy’s interests included sewing, ceramics, going to movies and taking cruises.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Donna Rose and Marlene Nater; grandchildren, Valerie Corniel, Kirsten Withrow, Karissa Mobilia and Konner Rose; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Shaller; brother, Jerry Weyer; nephew, Bruce Schaller; and nieces, Debra Stogner and Cindy Galloway. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Pryor; grandson Korey Rose; and granddaughter Alisha Nater.

A graveside inurnment service is planned for 1pm Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 710, 2nd Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.
