Gayle L. Reis, 54, passed peacefully in her sleep and became an angel on July 2, 2018. She was born April 28, 1964 at Madigan Army Medical Center. She lived in Enumclaw for 3 years.
Gayle is survived by her husband of 33 years, Todd Reis of Enumclaw; sons Ryan (Sarah) Reis & Graesen Reis (Elizabeth Michaelson); daughter Kadra Reis; grandchildren Landon and Makai; brother Craig Calloway; and sister Renee' Shindler.
Gayle was a home healthcare provider, bringing comfort and friendship to the many that she cared for. In particular Don Milligan and her late great friend, Bill Erickson. She was also a para teacher/playground monitor at Roosevelt Elementary in Tacoma.
Gayle lived to love her husband Todd, her whole world. An unbreakable bond of love and devotion. Her pride and joys of her life were her own children and the many non-biological children that have passed through their home. From Clarissa, Bryan, Princene, Damone, Dashe', Gabriel all the way through to Suzanne and Wesley. So many we cannot list them all. She loved all of them unconditionally. Gayle had so many friends, Rochelle, Lorri, Monique, Kim and Sue, Josh and Ryan. Cannot possibly mention all those that she loved and cared for on this Earth.
Gayle loved flowers, butterflies, hummingbirds and balloons. She loved her coffee, Seahawks, Mariners, Sonics and was just getting excited for hockey. She also loved fishing with her husband, no better net girl. Music, Motown, gospel, rock n' roll, AC/DC, Bruno Mars to her all time favorite Def Leppard. Play them loud for our Gayle.
All Gayle ever did was love and care for those that came into her life. No prejudgments only unconditional love. Treat people nice, smile and give a person a chance is all she would ask of anyone, and laugh. Laugh as much as you can. One of her silly jokes or sayings would crack anyone up. Life is way too short.
And now Gayle is an angel. Peace.
