Geraldine "Jean" (McQuade) Dantzler

Jean passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2018. She was born on January 12, 1938 to Martin and Olga McQuade in Valley City, North Dakota. The McQuade family moved to Seattle (White Center) when Jean was a young girl. Soon after graduating from Highline High School she married Jack Dantzler on July 23, 1955.

After starting their family Jean worked at Cudahay Bar-S where she became the first woman foreman in that company's history. She worked there until they closed in 1984. Jean enjoyed swimming with her friends at the YMCA, gardening, visiting with family, and of course, cooking and baking. Those cookies!

Jean is preceded in death by her sons Frank and Ed. She is survived by her husband Jack; sons Joe and Robert (Amy); grandchildren Monica, Alix, Max, Garrett, and Rachel; and great grandchildren Savaan, Isabella, Camila, Angel, Perla, and Roman.
