Glen Osterdahl Obituary

Glen Osterdahl

Glen Lawrence Osterdahl, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born in Maple Valley on June 4, 1934 to John and Grace Osterdahl and would soon move to Carbonado. While in high school he met the love of his life, Irene Hash. They were married June 4, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Enumclaw, where they made their home and raised their family. Glen started working at Boeing sweeping floors, eventually becoming a manager and retired after 38 years. His greatest passion in life was his family. He also enjoyed golfing, gardening, going to the ocean, board games, crossword puzzles, backyard barbeques, and spending Christmas Eve’s immersed in the presence of family. Glen is most well known for his trait of accepting and treating new family members as his very own.

Glen is survived by his wife of 65 years, Irene; sisters, Shirley Elison and Joyce Maxwell (David); children, Debbie LaBarge (Micheal), Doug Osterdahl (Daneen), and Connie Corwell (John); grandchildren, Rich Maxey (Sheryl), Jolene Meade, Tony Ryan (Kari), Sadie Lord (Kevin), Becky Cail (Jason), and Jason Meske (Christy); and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Parlari and his granddaughter, Elizabeth Waltrip.

There will be a graveside service Friday, March 1st at noon at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park with a reception following at 1pm at the Masonic Hall.
