Janice "Janie" Starr

Janice “Janie” Starr of Auburn died July 16, 2019 at the age of 75.  Janie was born December 12, 1943 to Louis Starr & Mable Barr in Auburn, WA.  Janie loved going to the Shaker Church, watching the Seattle Seahawks, and her soap operas.  She is preceded in death by her father, Louis “Doc” Starr, Sr.; mother, Mable Starr; sisters, Lillian Smith, Blanche Starr, Florence Wynne, B. Brenda Sheldon; brothers, Harvey Starr, Louis “Snapper” Starry, Marvin “Cubby” Starr, Lawrence Starr, Harry “Head” Starr, Raymond “Jimmy” Starr, and Henry “Beetle” Starr;  also, her life partner Martin Johnny.  Janie is survived by her sister, Lorraine “Dee Dee” Starr of Auburn, WA.  Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 1-3p at Weeks’ Funeral Home with the prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Shaker Church.  The Funeral Service will be Friday, July 19, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at the Shaker Church with burial at New White Lake Cemetery.  Service directed by Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, WA.
