Gerald “Jerry” Coleman, 84, of Enumclaw, WA died December 3, 2019. Jerry was born to James and Alice Coleman March 30, 1935 in Seattle, WA. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Later Jerry worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a 50-year member of Operating Engineers Local 302. Jerry loved to hunt and fish and for 20 years he enjoyed the sunshine while spending winters in Arizona.
Jerry is survived by wife of 32 years, Shirley Coleman of Enumclaw; stepdaughter Karen Pyl & husband Bernie of Auburn; stepdaughter Karla Van Dyk of Camano Island; stepson Keith Van Dyk & wife Denise of Ontario, Canada; sister-in-law Darlene Coleman of Kent; 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held at Wabash Church on December 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, nwpf.org, or to the Wabash Church Women’s Ministry.
