John Allen Teichroew

May 12, 1936-July 1, 2019

Our Father passed away peacefully in his home just as he wished, with loving daughters at his side.  

He grew up in western Washington and remained living here throughout his life. He enjoyed music, comedy, kept up on current events, explored the mountains, and spent many years on our island beaches.  

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Herman B. and Stella M. Teichroew, his six siblings, Marie, Genevieve, Pinky (Florence), June, Annabelle, and Harold, his young daughter Arlene Kay (twin to Elaine), and his dog, loyal friend and beloved companion, Patrick.

Our Dad leaves behind five daughters, Vickey Lynne, Karen Dianne, Elaine Marie, Laurie Kay and Joanne Arlene, many many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large extended family. 

His beautiful smile, impeccable style and goofy sense of humor will be sorely missed. 

There will be an informal memorial in honor of him on Sunday, August 25th at 1:00 pm, Freeland Park on Whidbey Island.
