Kent Kindsvater

Kent Andrew Kindsvater died October 24, 2018 in Enumclaw surrounded by family. He was 54 years old. Kent was a blessing to all who were fortunate to know him. He was born October 5, 1964 in Monroe, Washington. His family lived in Index, Washington until moving to Enumclaw in 1969. Kent was raised in Enumclaw and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1982. He earned his associate’s degree from Highline Community College.

Growing up in Index and Enumclaw fostered his love for the outdoors. His passion for fishing began with his father Bob at an early age. Kent enjoyed trips to Idaho to visit family. He was a natural athlete who enjoyed golfing, basketball and baseball. He was an avid fan of the Seattle Thunderbirds and Cougar football. Kent will be remembered for his love of family, coaching his boys, family adventures and the Enumclaw community.

Kent worked for Darigold for 31 years until he retired in 2018. He made many treasured friends there. He joined the Enumclaw School District shortly after, working on the grounds crew.

Kent is survived by his wife Patty of 30 years; his sons Brett and Kurt; and brother Karl. He is preceded in death by his mother Shannon and father Robert. We are comforted knowing he is in the loving arms of the Lord and with all his loved ones who have gone before him.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3rd at Wabash Church, 18325 SE 384th St., Auburn.
