Lonnie O'Neal Obituary

Lonnie G. O’Neal, 82, of Enumclaw, died November 18, 2019 in Tacoma Washington. Lonnie was born July 5, 1937 to George Boyd and Anna Mae O’Neal in Sappho, Washington. In 1954 Lonnie heard the call of his country and joined the United States Navy. Following his service to our country he had a long and successful career with Rohr Industries as a Jet Engine Mechanic. Lonnie met the love of his life Nancy O’Neal and the two married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw on August 14, 1959. Lonnie had many hobbies and interests, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, especially at Sekiu. When he wasn’t enjoying the outdoors Lonnie could be found listening to his beloved country music or playing his guitar. Lonnie will be remembered for always having a smile, his sense of humor and especially his love of his family.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy O’Neal of Enumclaw; daughters, Laurie Robertson of Maple Valley and Shelly Christensen of Enumclaw; and 2 grandchildren.

Please share a memory on the tribute wall.
