Nadalene Edith Pritchett passed away February 24, 2018 in Enumclaw, Washington at the age of 86. She was born April 20, 1931 in Seattle, Washington to parents Edwin and Helen Kathleen (Raemer) Kauffman. Nadalene (Nada) married Winfred E. Pritchett On October 5, 1949, in Columbus, Georgia. Nada began beauty school on Queen Anne Hill in 1946 and worked as a licensed beautician until early 1966. She continued to work as a hairdresser from her home until she and Win retired to Sequim, Washington in 1990. Another of Nada’s passions was music, she joined the world renowned Sweet Adelines singing group in the late 1950’s. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a devoted member of the group well into the 1960’s. Nada’s hobbies included oil painting and volunteering at a variety of non-profit organizations. A devoted wife and loving Mother to 5 children, Nada had a love for her family unlike any other.
Nada was preceded in death by her brothers Paul and Donald; her sisters Muriel and Ellen; her eldest son Ted Pritchett; and her loving husband Winfred E. Pritchett. She is survived by her only daughter Lehann Nelson (Paul); and her three other sons Tobin Pritchett (Deana), Randyl Pritchett and Neil Pritchett (Jennifer); 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Nadalene was laid to rest with her husband of 67 years at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
