Longtime Enumclaw resident Paul James Alexander died May 8, 2017 in Medford, Oregon. He was born December 13, 1929 in Ontario, Oregon. Paul served his country in the Air Force from 1950-1954, the Air Force Reserves from 1956-1962, and the Army Reserves from 1964-1989 when he retired as a Major on his 60th birthday. He graduated with a BSME from Oregon State University in 1958 and completed US Army Engineering courses in 1966. Paul worked as an Engineer for GSA from 1958 until retiring in 1985. Then he operated his own home-based construction business specializing in residential repairs and remodeling. Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Alexander and two sons.
