You may not remember what Peggy said or did, but you will always remember how you felt when you were near her. She truly cared about others. She would stop everything to make you feel comfortable. She would make a pot of coffee…or hot chocolate and cinnamon toast…and would listen but never give you answers. She made you feel valuable and cared for. She had a heart of gold and you felt loved.
Dad always sang, ‘Peg of My Heart’ because you felt her warmth…and her heart was big enough for everyone she knew. Peggy will truly be missed by many.
Peggy passed on October 3, 2018 at the age of ‘almost’ 89…leaving behind three daughters and their three husbands, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, of fifty years.
Now, Mom and Dad are together again…dancing in heaven.
