Ray Emmerton

Raymond A. Emmerton, 91 of Marysville, was born October 18, 1926 in Vanhorn, WA.  He died February 9, 2018 in Everett, WA.  He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, son of Jeannette and Walter Emmerton, (d); husband of Betty Thovson Emmerton, (d)  father of  Toni (d) father of Linda, Ron and David; 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren.  He is also survived by his companion, Lois Bailey.  Raymond retired USN, WWII and was a salesman at Weyerhaeuser for 43 years. He loved hunting, fishing, water skiing, golf and a glass of scotch.  Raymond was a friend of many, stranger to none.

A memorial service will be held, Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Brookdale, 9802 48th Dr. NE, Marysville, WA 98270.  Military honors will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA 98042.
