Richard Michael Wakefield passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones at UW Hospital on November 13, at 10:40pm.
Richard was born on August 11, 1967 to, and survived by Patrick and Susan Wakefield of Enumclaw WA.
He is survived by his wife Heather Wakefield, and Rochelle Verhonick, the mother of their 3 children; Melissa Thompson (Tyler),
Megan Roberts (Jason), and Caleb Wakefield, along with step-children Mellissa Hoffmann, McKenna Hoffmann, Miranda Hoffmann,
and Gabriel Hoffmann. As well as sisters Sandy Willcut (Jeff), and Cheryl Thurston (Scott), and nephews Matt
Thurston, and Seth Thurston.
Richard graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1985 where one of his greatest joys was spent on the football field. Richard had a great love of football,
faith, and family. His strong faith and love of the Lord were a testament to those around him, and he will be sorely missed by all!
There will be a Celebration of Life held at Mt. Rainier Christian Center in Enumclaw, WA on December 1st at 3pm followed by a reception.
