Rose Marie Krainick, 80, of Enumclaw passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2019.
Rose was born August 1, 1939 in Seattle to parents Joe and Cecelia Kahne. A lifelong Enumclaw resident, Rose graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1958. One year later, she would marry her husband of 60 years, Frederick Krainick on her 20th birthday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw.
A well-loved member of our community, Rose was always baking cookies for someone in her family or in town, she’d make sure to be at her hair appointment every Friday, and she loved her outings with the Gardenia Girls.
Rose made many friends while bartending at the Krain and working at DeSanto’s Greenhouse.
In her spare time, you could find Rosie in her garden, tending her flowers or making sure the bird and squirrel feeders were full and taking care of her many animals throughout the years. She also enjoyed relaxing in her chair outside her garage watching the world go by.
August 1st of 2019 Rose got to celebrate her 80th birthday and 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by many of her friends and family, a wish come true.
Rose is survived by her husband Frederick Krainick; daughters Marcia Hughs and Debbie Hitch (Don); grandchildren Diana Fowler (Kyle), Natalie Hughs, Heather Hitch and DJ Hitch. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Kolton and Karter Fowler.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1pm at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw.
Donations may be made to Enumclaw Aid Car, 1330 Wells Street, Enumclaw, WA 98022. Please share a memory of Rose on the tribute wall.
