Sharyn Mae Thimmesch, 75 of Auburn, WA, died July 25, 2018 in Federal Way, WA. She was born May 7, 1943 in Tacoma, WA. Sharyn was raised in Enumclaw and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1961. After high school, Sharyn moved to Skyway, WA. She worked for Boeing for 38 years and was a Supervisor at flight test. She married John Thimmesch Sept. 3 1966. They built a house on Lake Holm near Auburn in 1972 and lived there for 45 years.
Sharyn & John did a lot of traveling to far off places. She has an identical twin sister, Karyn Jacobs living in Florida with her husband, Jim and had a special love for her nephews. Sharyn enjoyed boating on Puget Sound and salmon fishing. She was a Washington State Master Gardener and a member of the Enumclaw Garden Club. She was a former member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Black Diamond. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy Ely Jan. 16, 2017. She is survived by her husband, of 52 years John Thimmesch of Auburn, WA; Twin sister, Karyn Jacobs (Jim) of Palm Coast, FL and her nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held, Fri., Aug. 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park with a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m. at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley. Memorials may be made to: Enumclaw Garden Club.
