Steven Ross Parkin, “Boze”, “Caveman”, of Black Diamond, WA passed away on November 25, 2019 in his home in Black Diamond, WA at the age of 63. Steve was born in Auburn, WA to Billie Parkin, Jr and Elsie Parkin on November 15, 1956. He went to High School at Enumclaw High School and graduated in 1975. Steve went on to work as a logger, heavy equipment operator and taxidermist. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, flat track racing and Bar-B-Qing for friends and family.
Steve is survived by his mother, Elsie Parkin of Black Diamond; daughter Lindsay Hobert, son-in-law, Nathan Hobert, grandaughter Jaelen Hobert and granddaughter Morgandy Hobert of Enumclaw; daughter Randi Blackburn, son-in-law, Rob Blackburn and granddaughter Lainey Blackburn of Carbonado; brother Mike Parkin of Black Diamond, nephew Zach Parkin of Buckley and niece Erica Karhoff; brother David Parkin, sister-in-law, Jackie Parkin of Lake Tapps, niece Ashley Parkin of Lake Tapps and Shelby Parkin of Sumner. He is preceded in death by his father, Billie Parkin, Jr.
A memorial service will be held March 7, 2020 at 1pm at the Black Diamond Eagles
