VICTOR NORMAN DIGE
Beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend
Victor Dige passed from this world on September 30, 2018. He was born on August 28, 1934 in Sidney, Montana to Danish immigrants Otto & Emma Dige, the 9th of 14 children. He was baptized in the Pella Lutheran Church.
Victor moved to Washington in 1956 and lived in Maple Valley for many years. He retired from the Boeing Company where he worked for 37 years. His garden was his pride and joy; over the years he grew prize winning pumpkins and beautiful dahlias and roses. Family and friends were always welcome at his home and he held many barn dances that were very memorable events. He had a wonderful sense of humor that we will all miss.
Victor is survived by his longtime companion, Bonnie Allen; ex-spouse Audrey Grimm; his brother, Bob (Rita) Dige; his sisters, Selma Nealson, Betty Cholewinski and Jo Dige; his daughters, Victoria (Robert) Angwin of Everett, Andrea (Dan) Hull of Maple Valley, and Paulette (Doug) Arnold of Dunnellon, Florida; grandchildren, Danielle Hull, Kayla (Anthony) Yates, Justin Hull and Brandon Angwin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Otto & Emma Dige; and siblings, Paul, Arnold, Nels, Gerda, Alvin, Leon, Gordon, and Shirley.
We will hold him dearly in our hearts until we meet again.
“God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away…”
No services are planned. Memorial donations can be made to The American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice.
