William (Bill) Dean Eddy, 83, of Buckley passed away May 26, 2018. He was born March 30, 1935 to Winfred and Ruth Eddy in the small town of Wheeling, West Virginia. Bill was born and raised in Wheeling, and graduated from High school before he was drafted into the Army, during the Korean War, he was stationed in Germany. Bill moved to Bellevue from Michigan working for Delta Airlines as a Ground Crew Supervisor. When Delta expanded to Seattle Bill did not hesitate to request a transfer and moved his family out to Buckley. He took any excuse to be outdoors and with his family. His eldest son inspired him to help special needs people in any way he could, encouraging his family to do the same. He was patient and had a big heart; he and his family on a fishing trip happened upon a bus of special needs people and Bill saw an opportunity to share their fishing gear and help them experience the joy of the catch too. He spent many years as a Scout Master for a Handicapable Troup, earning certificates and awards that he proudly displayed at home.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Sandy of 46 years. He is survived by his sons Douglas Eddy, Jeff (Monica) Eddy, Kevin (Lori) Eddy; daughter Deedra (Ryan) Clark; and grandson Keaton. He was a great father and friend, and will be missed by many.
