Zachary James Roundtree, the man, the myth, the legend.

Zachary was a seven year United States Air Force Veteran who served his country and completed two tours overseas.  He is survived by his mother, Yvonne & husband Rick Poplawski of Bonney Lake; father, Curt Roundtree of Puyallup; brothers, Michael Poplawski of Bonney Lake, & Wayne Roundtree of Bremerton; sisters, Hannah Kyllonen, Danielle Roundtree both of Bonney Lake, Hanna Roundtree, Tawni & Kayla Stratten both of Bremerton.  Zach is also survived by his grandmothers, Teresa Resser of Buckley & Carol Mullin of Sequim & Fiancée Savannah Raczykowski of Bonney Lake.   He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Olson, Craig Resser, Ted Roundtree, Marietta Roundtree & James Mullin

Zachary never took life for granted, he lived everyday like it was his last. He loved snowmobiling, dirt biking, fishing, hunting, and just about anything to do with the outdoors. He always pushed people to do things they would never do, he made them live life to the fullest. He was always that one person you could count on, people looked up to him. Zach would give you the shirt off his own back without hesitation. He touched so many people’s lives and brought out the joy and happiness in everyone. 

Never above me, never below me, but always right there with me.

In celebration of Zachary’s life, there will be a service for him on Sunday, March 11th at 1:30 at the Eagles in Buckley WA. Donations can be made to the East Pierce Fire and Rescue, The Wounded Warrior Project, and The Thin Blue Line Foundation.
