Barbara Jean Arvidson

Barbara was born February 3rd, 1945 to Agnes and Arthur Arvidson. Growing up in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle with her sisters Betty and JoAnn. Barbara prided herself in her lifelong independence and had a feisty personality. She had a ton of grit and was a very hard-working person.

She spent almost her entire career at the Boeing company, where she was among the very first female engineers in the workforce. Retiring early after over 30 years of employment, she devoted herself full-time to her country farm and the many animals she raised and loved very much. Barbara was a warm-hearted woman, who enjoyed shopping, knitting, good food, and watching the Seattle Seahawks kick butt!!

She is survived by her two sisters, nephew Adam, nieces Amber and Marina, and her great nephew Reese. Her passing preceded by her mother Agnes, father Arthur and nephew Arthur. She will be missed very much.
