Barbara Brendel Obituary

Barbara Ellen Brendel  of Eatonville, WA went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2021 after losing her 14 year battle with breast cancer. Barb was born October 15, 1952 in El Paso, Texas.  She was the daughter of Lora Jane Carroll of Eatonville, WA and  the late Kenneth L. Carroll.  She was a graduate of Sumner High School Class of 1970. Barb served the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandma, sister, and friend.  She  was a member of the Daybreak Community Church in Eatonville, WA. She married Paul Mikel “Mike” Brendel June 11, 1979 and they soon joined their two families together with Barb's son and daughter and Mike's two sons. They enjoyed being with family and spent most of their spare time traveling, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting.  Their family members all have fond memories of their many adventures in the great outdoors.  Barb was employed for 17 years in the White River School District and worked as a Secretary for both White River Middle School and Mountain Meadow Elementary.  She was well known for her strong work ethic and her willingness to help others. She is survived by her husband, Mike, her children Michael Wadsworth (fiance Melynda) and Brenna Wadsworth, her stepsons, Brett Brendel and Sean Brendel, her mother, Jane Carroll, her sister Beverley Gabel (Ned) and her brother, Roger Carroll  (Valerie Jo) and her grandchildren, Teagan Wadsworth, Kaydence Brendel and Carson Brendel.  She is predeceased by her father Kenneth Carroll.
