Happiness is a choice, a repetitive one. Barbara Jean Mills knew that, and every day worked towards repeating a little bit of happiness in her life. Born on November 27, 1930 in Cass County, Minnesota to Thomas and Rosetta Wold, she was indeed something for which to be thankful. Happiness, for her, was found in her collection of books, tricky crossword puzzles, seeing as much of the world as possible, and sharing every moment with family. She worked hard as a bookkeeper for many years and then at a gas station/tire store/deli with her husband. A fan of amateur boxing she lent her time to judging matches and timekeeping. Love was shared and spread wherever she went; and she enjoyed it the most when done with family (especially her beloved grandchildren). Barbara was preceded in death by her loving sons Thomas and Ronald. She continues to be cherished by her daughters Alice (Kevin) Leonard, Carol Jones, and Marilyn (Phil) Wharton; her sister Betty Sunde; 15 wonderful grandchildren; 25 amazing great grandchildren; and 2 incredibly special great great grandchildren.
