Betty Ann Johnson of Auburn, WA passed away on November 17th, 2021, in Enumclaw peacefully with family by her side.

She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had many friends as she served the Auburn community for many years. She will be deeply missed by all.

Betty was born to George and Ann Hamling on February 10, 1927, in Mission, South Dakota.

She is survived by her brother Ted Hamling of Nebraska, son Les Fernen of Las Vegas, daughter Bernie Shelbourne of Valentine Nebraska, grandson Scott Chavis of Auburn, grandson Justin Chavis of Enumclaw, and Great grandchildren, Cody Chavis, Cassie Chavis, Haley Chavis, and Garrett Chavis
