Betty Sue Vinci

Betty Sue Vinci passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in Enumclaw, Washington. She was 94 years young. Betty Sue was born to Fred and Ruth Blanton in Sylva, North Carolina in 1927.

Betty will be forever loved and remembered as a woman that cherished her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, reading, baking, dancing, but most of all Betty enjoyed talking to others and sharing life experiences. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to share in a laugh. She had a steady shoulder to cry on and warm arms to comfort. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Betty is the loving mother of Stan Vinci (Betty) of Enumclaw, Diana Vinci (Robert Grout) of Bow, Washington, Linda Banks (Clarence) of Port Orchard, Washington, and Patti Johnson (Jim) of Bend, Oregon. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and great grandmother of sixteen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud (Primo) Vinci and grandson, Michael Vinci.

Betty will be laid to rest next to Bud at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Her family will be holding a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made in Betty’s name to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center or Franciscan Hospice.
