Boyd Baker, 74 of Enumclaw, died February 28, 2020 in University Place, WA. He was born March 21, 1945 to Joy & Elda Baker in Ogdon, UT. Boyd graduated from Auburn High School in 1964 and Green River College with an Associate Degree. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam war. He was stationed in Thailand where he worked on the electronics on fighter jets. After his service he moved to Washington State. He met and married Connie Smith in 1975. They lived at Lake Tapps for 12 years, then moved to Greenwater in 1986. He loved motorcycle riding, hiking, camping working with wood and loved science. Boyd especially loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Connie of Enumclaw; son, Boyd J. Baker & daughter, Carey J. Huss both of Enumclaw; 3 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Roy Baker & wife Ann of Puyallup & sister, Karol Nelson & husband Bernard of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Boyd is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald & Gary Baker & sister, Shirley Baker. Memorials may be made to: Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, PO Box 19023, Seattle, WA 98109. A graveside service was held, Thursday March 5, 2020 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
