Byron Sidney Lloyd

Byron Sidney Lloyd, 60, made his journey on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born on March 11, 1963 in Toppenish, WA to David Peter Lloyd and Arlene “Ollie” Miller. Byron was raised from a young age by his aunt Dagmar and uncle Jack Miller. He grew up with his family in the Toppenish/White Swan area and attended school in White Swan and graduated from Toppenish Sr. High School. Byron really enjoyed the outdoors: whether it was hunting, digging roots, picking huckleberries, raising/riding horses, making traditional beadwork, attending pow wows throughout Washington and Oregon, but his favorite was watching “Seahawks” football. Byron was a man of many trades as seen by his work history: he attended classes at J.M. Perry Institute in Yakima for Heavy Machinery; 10 years as a Security Guard for Muckleshoot Indian Bingo, 2 years working for the Auburn School District and 17 years working as a Security Guard for Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.
Byron is survived by his wife of 24 years, Wendy Lloyd of Bonney Lake; five daughters, Michelle, Tiffany, Stephanie (Lindy), Rose and Tamicka; two sons, Shane and Michael; brothers, Chris Paul, Stephen Lloyd, and William Martin; sisters, Bea Kahama, Bertha Miller, Monica Miller, Roberta Miller Ruiz and Marcella Abraham.
