Chelsea Anne Ulrich, a veterinary tech and life-long resident of Enumclaw, died tragically on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the age of 30, while on the way to her first day back at work from maternity leave. Chelsea is survived by her beautiful 3-month-old baby girl Gracie, her parents, Patty and Lloyd Ulrich, her younger sister, Caitlin, and her partner Steve.
Chelsea was born in Seattle on May 15, 1990 to Lloyd Ulrich and Patty Riley. She attended Sunrise Elementary and Enumclaw Middle and High School. After high school she got a job cleaning kennels at Buckley Veterinary Hospital and worked her way up to her current position of Veterinary Tech. In this position her love for animals and passion for people thrived. Chelsea enjoyed many things including hiking, traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending time with the family. Her passions in life were rescuing animals, caring for and helping others, crafting, and outings with her family and partner. Though Chelsea enjoyed and cared for many things in her life, the thing she cherished and was most proud of, was being a mother to her newborn baby Gracie Mae, who was born on May 22, 2020. Chelsea was loved and cherished and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her fierce compassion and caring nature for all by her family, friends, her work family, and community.
Services for Chelsea are being postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions and will be announced later.
Rest in peace Chelsea Ulrich. We love you!
Thank you to Runlands Grocery and the community for setting up and contributing to the Gracie Mae Fund! We are forever grateful.
