Lifelong Enumclaw resident Connie (Van Wieringen) Haubry, 68, left this earthly realm on October 11, 2021, due to complications from Covid. Connie was born to Jim and Stephanie Van Wieringen on October 4, 1953. She graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1971. Connie worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital and retired in 2020. She was a devoted mother to her 3 children and all their friends. She was a young and fun mom who loved kids, and everyone loved her. She was always a step ahead of her kids, and they could never get away with anything, she always knew the truth. Connie had a way with people. She made them feel special, comfortable, warm, welcome, loved, and important. She listened and cared, always putting others before herself, making everyone feel special. She was a good listener and had empathy for others. She loved people, the more the merrier, no matter what the occasion as long as everyone was together.
Connie is survived by her children, Jason Haubry (Olga), Josh Haubry (Jennifer), and Becky Haubry (Ken Schafer); her mother, Stephanie Van Wieringen; her partner of 25 years, Jim Severson; sister, Debbie Mallery; brothers, John Van Wieringen and Ed Van Wieringen; and grandchildren, Ethan and Sasha Haubry. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Jim Haubry and her father, Jim Van Wieringen.
