Diane Koler

Diane (Mills) Koler, age 64, of Enumclaw, WA passed away on January 12, 2021 in Sun City West, AZ due to complications from the COVID virus. She was born on December 31, 1956 in San Fernando, CA to Alton and June Mills. Diane grew up with her two older brothers Lynn and Danny. In July of 1974, Diane married Wayne Koler and they had two daughters. In 1983 the family moved from California to Auburn, WA and eventually to Enumclaw.

Diane worked at Pay n’ Save, which became Rite Aid, from 1986-2000. After the death of her husband in 2002, she moved back to California where she worked for Costco and was a caregiver. Years later, Diane returned to Enumclaw to be closer to family. She worked for Safeway and remained in the area until 2017 when she moved to Sun City West with her partner Ron Phillips.

Diane was soft-spoken and exceptionally kind. She was selfless, dependable, and strong. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed various forms of art including quilting and painting. She loved going to car shows where she would display her 1966 Ford Galaxie. She also found joy in traveling and road trips.

She is survived by her brother, Danny (Alyce) Mills; daughters, Delila and Darsey; grandchildren, Samantha, Brittaney, Andrae, and Elijah; and 2 great-grandchildren, Mayzalee and Willow.
