Doug is preceded in death by his parents William (Bill) and Beverly (Bev) Mitchell, older brother Bruce Mitchell, and older sister Barbara (Barb) Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Denise Mitchell, daughter Kristen Mitchell of Auburn, WA, daughter Alexandria Borges of Idaho Falls, ID, son Douglas Mitchell, Jr of Tacoma, WA, son Curtis Mitchell of Tacoma, WA, son Geoffrey Mitchell of Tacoma, WA, grandsons Dimitri Borges and Kealan Borges of Idaho Falls, ID, brother Donald (Don) Mitchell of Tacoma, WA, sister Denise (Dee) Bue of Chehalis, WA, and sister Diane (Annie) Kloepfel of Spokane, WA.
