Frederick F Lane Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frederick F Lane, Jr., a beloved member of the Muckleshoot Tribe and cherished husband, son, brother, and friend. Frederick was born on June 16, 1961, in San Francisco, California, to Sandra Lane and Frederick Lane, Sr. He passed away on May 11, 2023, in Puyallup, Washington, at the age of 61. Frederick worked at the Muckleshoot Casino as a Floor Supervisor before retiring in 2022. In his free time, he enjoyed various activities. He loved playing Bingo, family dinners, attending car shows and had a passion for classic cars. One of his favorite pastimes was going to the river, accompanied by his loving wife, Denny, and his beloved dog, Petey. Frederick is survived by his wife, Denny Lane, his mother Sandra Lane, his brothers, Billy Lane and Randy Lane, and his sister, Elizabeth Lane (Louie) and brother-in-law, Tom Louie. He was uncle to his nephews, Victor Jackson, John Jackson, Roger Jackson, Kenny Louie, and Dub-Dub, as well as his nieces, Deidre Lane, and Darina Louie, along with many other nieces and nephews. Frederick was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Lane, Sr., his uncle Robert Milton, his grandfather, Victor Milton, and his beloved dog, Petey. A visitation to pay respects to Frederick will be held at Weeks' Funeral Home in Buckley on Monday, May 15, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Muckleshoot Shaker Church on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, Frederick will be buried at New White Lake Cemetery.
