Georgine "Pat" (Murray) Wheeler

Georgine "Pat" Wheeler died April 15, 2019, in Enumclaw. She was 91. She was born May 8, 1927, in Silverwood, Alberta, Canada, the youngest of nine children born to John and Margaret Murray. In her younger years, she won trophies for showing horses and bowling. She had been a member of the Altar Guild at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church and, in 2004, started attending Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by sons Bill Wheeler (Jami) of Enumclaw and Jack Wheeler of Bonney Lake, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gene Wheeler, who died in 2003.

Services are still to be decided. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery. There will be a Mass intention at 6 p.m. May 5 at St. Joseph’s in Victoria, B.C.
