Janet Marie (Parrick) Van Wieringen died September 14, 2023, at the age of 84 in Bonney Lake, WA. She was born in Medford, Oregon November 8, 1938, the oldest child of C. Earl Parrick and Lucille (Parrick) Cole. She graduated high school in Oregon, received her BS in Nursing at Oregon State University and went on to get her Registered Nursing degree at Portland State.
Janet persevered through tragedy raising her two boys on her own and working tirelessly as a nurse and later head nurse at the Enumclaw Hospital for many years. She went back to school and acquired her school nurse practitioner degree and later became Enumclaw School Districts head nurse while also working night and weekend shifts at the hospital to take extra good care of her boys.
She was a member of the Country Bible Church back in the day and loved sewing. After retirement she loved traveling the world, first building churches with her husband Stan and later traveling with friends and enjoying the adventures of travel in the USA in her motorhome. She loved watching her grandkids at their sporting events and loved Mariners baseball. She started caring for her mother in 2013 who is alive today at 102.
Janet is proceeded in death by her father C. Earl Parrick, brother C. Earl Parrick Jr., husband Gary L. Klemann and husband Stan Van Wieringen. She is survived by her mother Lucille Cole, sister Joyce Josephson (Jon), son Scott Klemann (Tina) son Jeff Klemann (Brenda), seven grandchildren; Ryan (Kacey) Justin (Stacy) Lacy, Cory (Kiley), Slater, Kamy, Cody (Allie) and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation is encouraged by the family to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw in Janet’s name.
