With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joann (Kujawski) McElroy, who courageously battled breast cancer with grace and resilience. Joann, born September 5th, 1971, in Hahn AFB, Germany, peacefully departed this world at home with her loving family by her side, February 10th, 2024, in Buckley, Washington. She was 52 years old.

Joann McElroy was a beloved daughter, wife, parent, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, contagious smile, and devotion to God. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Joann McElroy grew up in Florida’s Gulf Coast, she graduated from Niceville Senior High School and went on to attend Central Washington University. In life, Joann exemplified unwavering devotion and loyalty to God, anchoring their journey with steadfast faith and profound reverence, leaving behind a legacy illuminated by their spiritual commitment. She epitomized the essence of motherhood, pouring boundless love, tireless effort, and unwavering dedication into nurturing her children, creating a sanctuary of warmth and guidance. Her selfless sacrifices and endless devotion will forever resonate as a testament to her extraordinary role as a cherished mother and mentor.

She is survived by her loving husband Scott McElroy, as well as her children Carson, Riley, and Analise, as well as her mother Renate. 

A memorial service to celebrate Joann McElroy’s life will be held on March 9th, 2024, at 1:00PM. Rainier Hills Christian Fellowship 23711 Entwhistle Rd, Buckley, WA 98321. Friends and family are invited to join and share their memories of Joann.

As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember Joann (Kujawski) McElroy for her enduring legacy of love, compassion, and the countless lives she touched. Though she has departed from our midst, her spirit will forever reside in the hearts of those she cherished most dearly.
