Jodi Len Olson

Jodi Len Olson passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Monday, March 6th, 2023, at the age of 63. She was surrounded by her husband and children singing, and sharing memories in the hours and moments preceding her death. 

Jodi was born in Seattle, WA on September 25, 1959 to Leonard and Barbara Randall. As a young girl, her struggling family found hope in Jesus, who became the cornerstone of Jodi’s life. She graduated from American School and went on to attend Seattle Bible Training School. While attending there, she happened upon a church where there was a young quartet performing, with one specific member who immediately caught her eye, and heart! After following him from concert to concert, eventually meeting and dating him, she finally married her sweetheart, Kennet Leon Olson on June 9, 1979. It wasn’t long after that she became a mother to a baby boy, and then another boy, and yes, a third boy! She and Kennet finished off their household by adopting a daughter in 1991. Jodi was a natural caregiver, and although she worked occasional jobs and would handle their investment properties like a professional, her ability to take care of her loved ones, was second to none!  She became “Grammy” in 2010, and found great joy in that title! As a natural fit for her talents, Jodi worked towards and received her CNA in 2014 and continued to care for both family, and those who became like family to her, during her time of caring for them. As her parents began to age, she gracefully stepped back into the role of caregiver, and nurtured them until their deaths. 

Jodi had a natural ability to connect with people and make them feel especially loved. She didn’t know a stranger, and became a surrogate mom to many that found themselves frequently in her home. She was a problem solver who looked for ways to help and bless people, and would take every opportunity to share her faith in Jesus, even to the very end! 

Jodi is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Barbara Randall, and her brother Kim Randall. She is survived by her husband, Kennet Olson, sister, Shawna Hart, children Kris and Crista Olson of Post Falls, ID, Kyal and Kristen Olson of Enumclaw, WA, Kaliber and Christine Olson of Otis Orchards, WA, and Karalee and Jason Gregg of Enumclaw, WA, 19 grandchildren, and many, many special friends! 

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jodi on Saturday, April 1st at 10am at Wabash Church- 18325 SE 384th Street, Auburn, Washington.
