Joel was very involved in his children’s lives, attending many activities that his daughter Debbie, participated in as well as coaching his son Dean’s little-league baseball teams for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and supporting them in all their various activities and playing Uno while camping at Grayland. He was an amazing mentor and father-in-law to Jeff, who helped him tremendously in these last few months going to dialysis, joking and keeping his spirits high.
