A one of a kind and the most loving husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle, and son. John Howard Beatley was called home to heaven on February 27th, 2023. John was born in Santa Monica, CA and resided in Orange County for most of his 20s, to which he then moved to Seattle, WA. John was a proud member of the Carpenter’s Local 30. He was 70 years old, soon to be 71 on April 22nd, but had never let his age stop him from doing anything. From working construction starting at the age of 16, to crawling and playing on the floor with his grandchildren, to riding his bike, swimming, surfing, storytelling, teasing all the children, road trips, chatting it up with his construction crew, road raging, hunting, and fishing. As he would say, "There ain't a slammer in this town that can hold me."

John was the kindest and most loving soul that no matter where he went, he always had a story or a joke to tell. He cared for everyone that crossed his path and wore his heart on his sleeve. John was always a joy to be around and always had a smile on his face with a laugh you couldn't forget, more than likely because he laughed at you from a joke he made towards you. John never failed to seize a moment to take a nap anywhere he went which also included some snoring. To add on, he loved dogs! You would often catch John sneaking some scraps to the dogs at family events.

If you ever crossed paths with John, it is more than likely he either showed you a picture or talked about his family to you. John loved his wife, Dianne Beatley of 34 years dearly. John, with the help of his wife, raised not only their own children, but some grandchildren as well. John was a true family man and loved his family with all that he had and then some.

John will be missed by so many, and his memories and legacy will be carried on through his wife, children, nieces, and grandchildren: Dianne Beatley, Shianna Savoie, Rachel Thomas, Jason Beatley, Jasmine Schweiger, Royce Schweiger, Kris Thomas, Nick Savoie, Lisa Mandt Lefeber, Jennifer Mandt VanHoute, Jake Schwieger, Paizleigh Thomas, Kash Thomas, Niklaus Savoie, Zyden Savoie, Tristen Beatley, Ashten Beatley, Alexis Bittner, and many more loved ones.

We love our crazy Italian! As for now, this is not a goodbye but simply, a see you later.
