JOHN MICHAEL FLEMING

We are heartbroken to announce that John passed away on January 18, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington. Before his passing John was a resident at the Linden Grove Health Care Center in Puyallup since 2018.

Born in Omaha Nebraska December 01, 1940 and John was raised by Agnes & Elbert Comer.  John graduated from Shoreline High School in 1962. After he graduated, he worked in various jobs until he went to work for Associated Grocers in Seattle where he worked for over 30. John retired in the early 2000’s where he was affectionally know as “Little John”. John was a helper whereever he was – he enjoyed people! John & his wife Lila were longtime residents in the Bonney Lake area where John worked at the Puyallup Fair and South Hill Mall after retiring from AG. He loved to volunteer & garden.

John was a long time member of the Renton Fraternal Order of Eagles.

John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lilalee E. Fleming, sisters-in-law Kelly Comer & Vickie Comer, sister Andrea Davies, brothers Vince & Philip Comer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

John was an active member of the Bethel Family Fellowship Church (20112 So. Prairie Rd E, Bonney Lake WA 98391). A celebration of his life will be at the church on March 1, 2020 at 3:00 pm. He was very close to his God, May He Rest in Peace.
